Ayenika is thirteen years old and one of seven children. She loves journalism and learning about computers through the local Government school. She studies currently at IPOBMAR Comprehensive High School.

"Hello, my name is Nathalia. I am the 9th child of Mr. Nah Thomas and Regina Buonyi. My parents have 10 children. My father is a retired Catholic primary school teacher and he is now farming even though he is old and weak. My mother is a farmer. I wrote an entrance exam to medical school and I passed but due to the financial difficulties of my family they are not able to see me through. I am appealing for financial support to continue my studies. Thank you!"

Dave and Bill are in a single parent household. Their house was burned down by in 2017 when the military attacked their village. As their mother, Anne, said, "My greatest worry is the future of my children. How will they continue to go to school when every thing has been burnt down, all these investment was for the future of my children, I don’t know what to do now." Anne, who works in a hotel, asked our organization for support to send her children to school.

Francine is 14 years old and in form 2. Her mother is handicapped and Francin struggles on her own to pay her school fees. After school, she works on a neighboring farm to get money to buy books and provide for her other needs. She is often sent out of class due to lack of payment. Despite this, and caring for her sick mother, she remains determined and hardworking. She is also the only one taking care of her younger sisters.

Rean is 19 years old. He is the oldest in a family of two. They were abandoned by their father, who married another wife. Their mother is unemployed and unable to care for them, so both children now live with their grandmother. Recently, Rean's grandmother has become sick and is unable to care for him. He is a hardworking boy, very obedient, and likes his studies very much.

Bila is eight years old and the youngest in a family of three children. Her mother recently had surgery and has not yet regained her health and her father is working hard to pay hospital bills and support his family.

Jean Marie is in form three. His mother is a farmer, a single parent and living with their grandparents. They are one of the victims of the ongoing Anglophone crisis in the North West and South West Cameroon. The military came and burnt down their house and they lost everything including their books, clothing, certificates.

Honesty is 12 years old and in a family of 3 children. Her mother is single and has a mental disability, so Honesty and her siblings are being raised by her aunt. The burden has been incredible for her aunt, who also has children of her own. Honesty is very intelligent and loves going to school. She is often sent out of class because her aunt is unable to pay the fees.

"Hello, my name is Bryan. I am 18 years old. I live in Shiy village with my uncle who is helping me. My mother is single and there are three of us in the family. During the holidays I do part time in an electronics shop in our area as a technician. My mother suffers from an illness that is called cerebral malaria. I love to go to school and will hope to be writing advanced level next year. I want to go to a higher education. Thank you!"
