Brother Emmanuel

"Hello, my name Brother Njumbo Emmanuel Sala and I write to sincerely thank the members of Ave Maria Help for the Needy Association and our benefactors from United States of America, for the financial and material assistance they have given me. Their timely assistance gave me the golden opportunity to answer God’s Call as my desire has always been to serve God as a priest.I am presently a postulant with the congregation of the Missionaries of the Compassionate Hearts of Jesus and Mary, based in Douala, Cameroon. My joy if full and I continue to pray and thank God for the benefactors and the members of Ave Maria Help for Needy Association for this great initiative that is out to assist the poor in the society. May God bless you all."

Malouma Marguerite

"My name is Malouma Marguerite. I am from the far North region of Cameroon. My father is a retired Catholic teacher and my mother died in 2017. I am the 6th out of 11 children in our family. In the year 2002, I completed primary school and due to lack of means, my parents could not sponsor me in secondary school. I remained at home while my friends were in school. Rev. Sr Leon Marie, a sister of the founder of Ave Maria Help for the Needy Association, who was working as a missionary in the North, sent me to their family in the North West region of Cameroon and enrolled me under their assistance program. The family readily accepted me and treated me as their own daughter. Tthey sponsored me in High school and in 2010, I obtained my Advanced Level. Through the Ave Maria program, I registered for the competitive entrance examination into teacher training college and succeeded (Ave Maria Help for the Needy was active in sponsoring children as early as 2002, and attained legal recognition and status in 2010). For one year, the founder of Ave Maria Help for the Needy Association, Mr. Lukong Isidore, hosted me until I completed my studies. After my grade training, I registered for the competitive examination into higher teacher training, where I was accepted. I have graduated and the government integrated me as a civil servant. I wish to say a big thank you to the family of Sr Leon Marie, the Ave Maria Help for the Needy Association and the benefactors of their love, care and charity shown to me and my family. I am now a pillar in my family as I have been able to now help my father and siblings. Our lives have changed and things will never be the same in my family again thanks to the assistance I had. May God bless each of you who have contributed to the immeasurable change in my life and that of of my entire family. I am so much grateful because I have moved from a beneficiary to a benefactor. Long live Ave Maria Help for the Needy Association, God bless you all."
